We all know rush hour is crazy no matter what part of the world you’re in. This scene from a subway system in Tokyo proves just how crowded rush hour can get for those taking public transportation. The people in the video seem to be in good humor about the situation though, probably because crowded subways are a daily occurrence in Tokyo.
This trucker driver seemed to ignore all the flashing red lights and stop signs telling him not to cross the track as this train approached. He explains why he did, and luckily both men were okay.

Two women who made their way to a railroad bridge on private property found themselves fearing for their lives when a coal trail came rolling through.
They were faced with the decision to either jump off the bridge and face serious injury or face death.
What actually happened is nothing less than a miracle.

Pay attention to the top right of your screen. What appears to be a Smart Car makes an attempt to beat a train at the corner of Orangethrope and Tustin Avenues in Placentia, California.
No word on injuries at this time.
According to the Associated Press, a tractor-trailer stuck on some tracks in west Texas was struck by an oncoming trail that dragged it a half-mile before coming to a stop. Thankfully the driver of the rig had just exited the rig right before it was struck. No injuries were reported.

The driver of a Ford Focus station wagon gets impatient and makes and attempt to cross a set of train tracks, but does so unsuccessfully and gets struck by an oncoming train.
It would be a stretch to say he was trying to beat the train, because he wasn’t going too fast. Perhaps he realized his mistake as soon as he hit the tracks.

Around 80 deaths are being reported after a train derailment in Spain earlier this morning.
The Los Angeles Times reports that investigators are currently looking into the accident as they try to find out a cause. Terrorism has a been ruled out.
One passenger was reported saying that the train came around a curve too fast when the accident occurred.
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said in the Los Angeles times that Spain would observe three days of mourning.
