Jaguar driver learns his lesson after taking up two parking spaces

A Jaguar driver who was apparently known for his poor parking skills was taught a lesson by a Toyota driver

A group of employees teach a fellow co-worker a lesson after seeing him take up more than one space in the parking lot.

Apparently it had been going on for awhile, and they had enough. The driver of the Jaguar spends about five minutes trying to get into the driver’s seat. Not sure why it even took that long …

Toyota to pay out $1.63 billion following 2009 accelerator recall

Toyota to pay out $1.63 billion following 2009 recall of unintended acceleration

Business Week reports that U.S. District Judge James V. Selna signed off on a $1.63 billion settlement late least week to resolve economic-loss allegations brought by Toyota drivers after a recall of more than 10 million vehicles in 2009 and 2010 for unintended acceleration problems.

A lawyer for Toyota said in the story that their focus is getting the maximum amount to customers, and those who submitted claims are getting 100 percent of their claims in the settlement.

Individuals will receive payments from $9.74 to $10,000, Business Week said.

Personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits caused by the unintended acceleration will be handled separately.
