Mopar, SRT debut Custom Dodge Challenger at SEMA

Project UltraViolet took the stage at SEMA this week, debuting one of  the most talked about projects from Mopar, the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 built for comedian Jeff Dunham.

Under the hood is a Mopar 426 crate engine that produces 550 HP and 490 pound-feet of torque. The V8 engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission to carry the widened rear track, front and rear fender flares and hand-built aluminum body panels that sit on 22-inch HRE wheels.

And if you’re wondering about the color, they’re calling it “electric purple.”
