Guy tries to pay towing bill with pennies

A guy got his Monte Carlo towed after having a fun night out with friends. When the guy went to the towing company to retrieve his vehicle, he brought $88 worth of pennies to pay for it.

You probably could have guessed that it didn’t go over very well with the employee behind the counter. At first she tried to say that the pennies had to be rolled, and then she said she would count the pennies.

When the guy called her bluff, she refused to do it, so he called the police.

Seven cops and one hour later, the guy got his Monte Carlo back.

Rare 1970 Monte Carlo stolen from man’s garage

It’s one of the worst nightmares for any Gearhead – having your project vehicle stolen from your own garage.

Joe Raley, a Fresno, California resident, is searching for his 1970 Monte Carlo he’s spent 26 years working on, according to cbs47.com.

“I’ve had it since my daughter was 8 months old,” Raley told the news station. “That’s my labor of love.”

In broad daylight, thieves used a bolt cutter to break into the garage door while Raley was at work yesterday afternoon, the story said. They also took some expensive tools.

According to the story, Raley has changed the locks in the house, secured the garage door and installed an alarm system. Fresno police have some leads, and they’re looking into the city’s top 5 car thieves.
