Reuters reports that Hyundai is recalling 240,000 older-model Sonata and Azera sedans because of possible corrosion that can affect rear wheel alignment, especially for those who live in cold-weather states.
Reuters said the recall involves model year 2006 to 2010 Sonata sedans made from March 1, 2005 to Jan. 21, 2010, and model year 2006 to 2011 Azera sedans made from Sept. 27, 2005 to Nov. 22, 2010.
20,300 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2013 models were also included, in addition to 9,345 Kia Sorento crossovers, 2013 models, because of issues with the right front axle.
The Santa Fe and Sorento models with front-wheel drive and 2.4-liter engines were the only models affected by the recall. Reuters said that the front right axle driveshaft may develop a crack, which could cause a separation of the shaft.
States included in the recall are Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
No accidents or injures have been reported because of this issue.

In this video, a police officer is seen pulling up to a Hyundai. Words are exchanged, and the two vehicles take off.
Though it’s not the most exciting of races, if you want to call it that, the video has raised some eyebrows, and many are questioning why the police officer would engage in a street race.
According to the YouTube description, the officer happened to drive away from the scene the moment the other car drive off, and careful editing make it appear to be a race.
Do you think the cop raced the Hyundai? Leave a comment below, or send us a tweet to @PowerBlockTV.
