Hot Rod or Rat Rod?

This video bills itself as a rat rod but we think because of its stellar and clean build, and because there’s no rust, that she’s a hot rod. What do you think?

Really HOT Hotrod on PowerBlock!

Check out this radical hotrod Courtney features this weekend on PowerBlock. It’s a 1934 Ford pickup that owner Larry Tucker started with only the cab he found in Missouri. He turned to Jason Graham Hotrods in Cleveland, Tennessee, to finish the build off. It’s got a blown 454 Chevy engine with 6 deuces and Wieand 6-71 blower. This baby makes 600 horses!

That’s a Model-A grill sandwiched between 1934 Ford commercial headlights. It rolls on custom Model-A wheels and classic whitewalls, 20” in the front, 19” in the rear. The color is a custom color Jason named “Chocolate Brown”. You have to see the rear bed and how the 9” rear and straight axle is mounted above the bed. The interior is just as cool in a “Saddleback Tan” with a 1940 Ford steering wheel and Genie shifter. One very wild hotrod!

It’s on PowerBlock July 27 & 28. For more on his other builds visit JasonGrahamHotrods.com

Dad takes daughter for first hot rod ride

dad and daughter

A dad takes his infant daughter for her first hot rod ride. According to the YouTube video description, she was only 10 weeks old at the time of the ride, and video poster says she was properly fastened.

“I didn’t get on it that hard, but she has a pretty good reaction when I gave it some gas,” he says.

The description says it’s a 1964 Corvette coupe that’s powered by a 350 with Dart Pro1 Platinum 200cc cylinder heads. It has a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, and compression is around 9.5:1. It’s paired with a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed converted to be a direct fit.
