Dick Van Dike’s Jaguar caught fire along a Los Angeles-area freeway yesterday.

According to Fox News, the 87-year-old actor was pulled out of the burning vehicle by another driver who saw the Jaguar on fire.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and Van Dyke’s wife, Arlene, tweeted that the actor was fine.

Judging by his tweet from last night, he seems to be taking a humorous approach to the situation. At least he’s in good spirits!

Ferrari found on fire in parking lot in Boca Raton

A Ferrari parked across the street from a Hooters in Boca Raton, Florida, caught fire after being in the parking lot for about 15 minutes last Friday.

According to WPTV, a server noticed a small flame coming from the rear of the F430. When the owner of the car was notified, one witness said he didn’t look too concerned.

“… In fact, he was almost laughing at the situation,” the witness said.

No known cause was stated in the story, and fortunately no one was injured.

When a Mercedes C63 AMG had to stop in some dry grass, the heat that came off the brakes started a huge fire that engulfed the car in flames.

Thankfully everyone escaped without injury.

Trailer fire destroys six exotic luxury vehicles in Bangkok, Thailand

Six cars were destroyed after a fire erupted on a Hino transporter truck in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Bangkokpost.com, police said that the blaze burned a Lamborghini, a Ferrari, a BMW and a Bentley. The two other vehicles weren’t named.

The story said that each vehicle was equipped with a natural gas storage tank, and police speculated that a burning cigarette discarded by a motorist could have ignited a fire.

The vehicles were valued at 10-million baht, which is more than $320,000 in U.S. currency.
