Proposed law would allow police to pullover, inspect bikers in groups of three or more

A new law being introduced in Queensland, Australia, could allow police officers to pull over and inspect any group of three or more bikes riding together. However, only members of criminal bike gangs would face prosecution under the laws making it an offense for them to ride in large groups, skynews.com said.

The initiative has been prompted to put a stop to motorcycle gangs in the area, but Sky News reports that the Motorcycle Riders Association of Queensland believes that the proposed laws are ridiculous and will lead to harassment of innocent riders.
