Courtney showcases one serious ’70 Chevelle this weekend on The PowerBlock. Owner Jonathan Ivy gave his builder John “The Sandman” Derakhshan a blank slate to create the Chevelle he thought John deserved. With help from Troy Miller of Redrum Customs, they gutted a solid stock Chevelle and in only six months transformed it into a show stopper. They narrowed the rear two inches on each side to fit wider twenty four inch Toyo tires on Forgiato Wheels. It has an injected 502 Ram Jet that’s been dyno tested at 468 horses. The red theme continues inside, thanks to Stephen Brothers Upholstery, who crafted leather bucket seats from a GTO and a console from a ’96 Impala. This is one gorgeous car…and wait until you see the trunk! Check it out on The PowerBlock July 21 & 22. Remember we air starting at 9am ET – 11am ET.
