Ford Motor Co and SEMA teamed up this year to present the SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women.
According to a press release from SEMA, the project is designed to shine the light on women working in the automotive aftermarket and encourage more women to pursue careers in the industry.
Jennifer Seeley won the first-ever SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women contest with her winning design, “High Gear,” and it will be used to modify a 2013 Ford Mustang GT.
The vehicle will later be auctioned off with proceeds going towards the SEMA Memorial Scholarship fun, the press release said.
