Statically, more collisions between cars and deer occur during the fall. USA Today has reported that the highest number of auto accidents takes place during November.

The National highway Traffic Safety Administration says there are 1 million car accidents with deer each year that kill 200 Americans, cause more than 10,000 injuries and result in $1 billion in vehicle damage.

USA Today said that West Virginia tops the list of states where a driver is most likely to run into a deer, followed by Iowa, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Montana, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wyoming.

In this video below, a guy is described as “tacking a deer” during the 2012 Buffalo Bill DownHill event at Lookout Mountain.
