Are You Mr. Gasket?

[singlepic id=1077 w=525 float=none]

This weekend on PowerBlock find out how you can become the next Mr. Gasket! V.P. of Sales Bob Bruegging is our guest, and he’ll tell you how to enter the Search For Mr. Gasket Contest. The winner basically becomes the spokesperson for Mr. Gasket, including appearing in TV and print ads, websites, social media and making public appearances. Plus, there’s a cash prize!

Also we’ll go dry lake bed racing at El Mirage, California, with PowerBlock Magazine’s West Coast Reporter – Jason Lewis. Plus we’ll check out this gorgeous boat of a classic car, a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500. Owner Calvin Dale was the original owner, and after his son Jeff drove it in high school and college, it sat in the driveway for 15 years. Then the family turned to Terry Petersen of Fredric & Petersen Collision in Franklin, TN, for the full and original restoration. See it all on PowerBlock November 10 & 11. For more go to

Trucks! Host Kevin Tetz shows off Mustang in Heatshield Products booth at SEMA 2012

Trucks! host Kevin Tetz is at SEMA this year in the Heatshield Products booth showing off his custom Mustang he’s been working on for about three years.

Project Jaded, appropriately named for the custom green Kevin created, started out as a ’66 Mustang fastback. But as you can tell by the pictures, the font end is custom, grafted off of an ’05 Mustang, with a lot of custom sheet metal work and body modifications. It has an ’03 Cobra supercharged engine paired with a T56 manual transmission, and it sits on Forgeline CF3C wheels, coupled with BF Goodrich G-force tires.

Most importantly, Kevin used Heatshield Products on his custom Magnaflow exhaust.

Kevin likely chose Heatshield products because they are asbestos free, resist water, fungus, petroleum products and are non-combustible. Heatshield Products has been family owned and operated since 1985 and offer a line of diverse and cutting-edge products for heat protection and insulation needs for projects like Kevin’s below.
