The owner of this GT500 doesn’t realize he’s about to blow up this dyno with an epic explosion!
Check out Courtney’s ride of the week, this gorgeous and rare ’67 Camaro Z-28. Chevy only made 600 of them. Owner George Hendrick found it after it had been sitting in storage for 19 years. He began the three-year resto by dropping in a Chevy 358 plus an Eagle rotating assembly, Edelbrock Air Gap intake and a Summit 750 carb.
This bow tie wonder makes about 436 horses and rolls on Foose Nitro Wheels and Sumitomo rubber. And it’s another amazing interior by Kaze Williams at Pope’s Hot Rods who did all the stitch-work in ultra-leather upholstery with orange inserts, and something you don’t see often, white upholstery inserts under the hood. George added a lot of billet touches with pedals, gauges and headliner. The whole package is wrapped in Corvette paint called “Atomic Orange”.
It’s on PowerBlock August 3 & 4.
Check out this radical hotrod Courtney features this weekend on PowerBlock. It’s a 1934 Ford pickup that owner Larry Tucker started with only the cab he found in Missouri. He turned to Jason Graham Hotrods in Cleveland, Tennessee, to finish the build off. It’s got a blown 454 Chevy engine with 6 deuces and Wieand 6-71 blower. This baby makes 600 horses!
That’s a Model-A grill sandwiched between 1934 Ford commercial headlights. It rolls on custom Model-A wheels and classic whitewalls, 20” in the front, 19” in the rear. The color is a custom color Jason named “Chocolate Brown”. You have to see the rear bed and how the 9” rear and straight axle is mounted above the bed. The interior is just as cool in a “Saddleback Tan” with a 1940 Ford steering wheel and Genie shifter. One very wild hotrod!
It’s on PowerBlock July 27 & 28. For more on his other builds visit JasonGrahamHotrods.com
Packing an LSX under the hood, this Willys Jeep puts out 300 hp, but according to 1320 Video, there are plans to put in a Nitrous Express nitrous kit to help this military classic produce up to 500 horses.

We know it looks great, but the Mothers/Vaughn Gittin RTR Mustang has the chops too! This weekend on PowerBlock Courtney welcomes Jim Halloway from Mothers and their killer track car that you can bid on to win. This 2013 Mustang GT has a 5.0L V-8 engine with 6-speed manual transmission and Ford Racing Supercharger. Yeah it’s fast with 650 horsepower, and it’s Vaughn’s vision of what the Mustang should be. It has lots of carbon fiber pieces, HRE Wheels, American Racing long tube headers and a Magnaflow Performance Exhaust. The BASF R-M Onyx two-stage Candy Carizzma waterborne paint is a custom “Mothers Red” formulated by Chris Guinn. Mitch Kelly of Kelly & Son the Crazy Painters in Bellflower, California, painted the graphics. The custom interior, designed by the RTR team, was mastered by Stitchcraft Custom Interiors of Westminster, CA. The car will end up in January at the 2014 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, with proceeds going to the Barrett-Jackson Cancer Research Fund at TGen, in honor of Jim’s late father Al.
If you want to help and can’t wait for the auction you can make a donation now at TGEN.org
This weekend Courtney will introduce you to the 545 horsepower Nissan Juke-R. Jeff Skalisky, Nissan’s Juke Product Planning Manager is her guest with the back story. It started out as marketing idea by Nissan Europe and built by RML in England. In a nutshell they took a Nissan GT-R and shoehorned it into a Juke! Remember, the GT-R wheelbase is 10” longer, so it was a huge effort of engineering. The Juke-R has the same 3.8 liter V-6 twin turbo, 545 horsepower engine, the same transmission with paddle shifters, an all-wheel drive system, 20” wheels and Brembo Brakes. It took 22 weeks and about 7000 man hours. The exciting news is you can get one just like it. The new NISMO Juke has 197 horsepower on the same 1.6 liter turbo engine. It also includes high end suspension, 18” wheels and a comfortable interior with bolstered sport seats. The NISMO Juke starts at $22,990 for the front wheel drive manual transmission and goes up to $25,290 for the CVT all-wheel drive.
See it on PowerBlock July 6 & 7. For more visit NissanUSA.com
