Next-gen Mustang to see weigh reduction

Next-gen Mustang to see weigh reduction

Edmunds reports that the sixth-generation Mustang set debut next year will see a weight reduction of 11%, or 400 pounds. The website said that Ford will be using lightweight materials that will improve performance and not compromise quality.

Edmunds also said that the next-gen Mustang will be 15 inches shorter and 6.5 inches narrower.

Unfortunately, all of these chances come at a cost. According to Edmunds, the max price is going to increase by 10 percent.
