YearOne announces Classic Wheels on PowerBlock!

This weekend Courtney is joined by YearOne president Kevin King and our Muscle Car project “Overkill.” This baby is sporting a new set of YearOne wheels! Kevin will show you their new line of wheels with a twist: 17 x 9-inch versions of old school 14 & 15-inch wheels; a new take on a classic design! Over the last 7 years, YearOne has raised over 2 million dollars for charity and they’re still going. Right now you can buy a $10 raffle ticket for the chance to win a YearOne motorcycle. Edelbrock’s 75th Anniversary on PowerBlock!

In our world, if you looked up “high performance” in the dictionary Vic Edelbrock’s picture would be there! This weekend Courtney helps celebrate Edelbrock’s 75th anniversary with Vic himself. You’ll get more details on how to win Vic’s 75th anniversary Mustang GT tricked out by our HorsePower guys — You know, it includes an E-Force Supercharger! Loctite Truck Giveaway!

This weekend on PowerBlock, we hand over the keys of the Loctite “Putting America Back To Work” truck and trailer package. Courtney welcomes Henkel Corporation’s Director of Marketing for Loctite, Mike Shannahan, and the high bidder Tony Steve Kudlacik from the Albany, New York. Steve is a handyman who really could use a new Ford F-150 and trailer. He not only does handyman work for hire, he also helps his local senior citizens with odd jobs around the house.

Loctite will donate Steve’s winning bid of almost $42,000 to help put Americans back to work. The truck was upgraded by Trucks! and the trailer is loaded with tools and lots of Loctite products! Putting America Back To Work!

This weekend on PowerBlock, Courtney welcomes Craig Bell, V.P. Global Technology for Henkel Corporation’s Loctite Brand. He’ll announce the start of the “Putting America Back To Work” truck and trailer package that you can bid on to win. Kevin and Ryan will upgrade a new F-150 4×4 work truck and trailer on two new Trucks! episodes starting October 13 and 14. Then Loctite will auction it off on eBay November 12th – 30th with all the proceeds donated to a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to putting people back to work. Dukes of Hazzard Special on PowerBlock!

This weekend PowerBlock talks to “Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider. Courtney welcomes PowerBlock Magazine’s Jason Lewis to the team and his assignment was interviewing John Schneider at the Las Vegas Cars Stars & Knight Rider Festival. This cool car benefit supports the Children’s Miracle Network.

You can expect a wide range of topics from Jason on PowerBlock, including a look at the west coast car scene, interviews with car builders and celebrities, plus road test reports of cool cars. Wooden Car?

Check out PowerBlock May 12 & 13 as Courtney welcomes Tom Edwards and his very rare 1924 Hispano Suiza Roadster. This wood body torpedo was built by World War 1 aircraft engine manufacturer Hispano Suiza. After the war they built 12 of these wood bodied race cars- only 3 remain today! The body is made out of Mahogany and weighs only 166 lbs. It’s powered by an in-line 8 that makes about 130 horsepower. The underneath is completely wrapped in copper for better aerodynamics.
