Hemmings Daily reports that a 1941 Chrysler Newport used to pace the 1941 Indianapolis 500 race will be going to the auction block for the third time in give years.
Hemmings says it sports flowing front and rear fenders, a cloth top and a rear cowl that can be adjusted with an electric motor. It’s believed that only five were ever built.
The classic pace car is expected to fetch between $900,000 and $1.2 million, and the auction will take place April 27 in Fort Worth, Texas.
